The dream of flight is now a reality. Join the Flying Unlimited school of Powered Paragliding & Powered Parachuting today

You will have the opportunity to fly the Xcitor after take-off under the guidance of your instructor.

30Min – R   600.00
60Min – R1 300.00

Introductory training flights are now taking place xcitor_43.jpgfor people interested in the PPG/PPC world of flying. The aircraft being used is the XCitor from Fresh Breeze. It flies close to microlight speeds and handles like a tandem Paraglider. Flying Unlimited is offering introductory flight for prospective pilots investigating the avenue of PPG/PPC flying.  Booking can be made via Email or telephone. The booking calendar is on the Flying Unlimited web site. Flights will only take place in the early morning and late afternoon (so before and after work).

The Passenger is briefed on how the aircraft works and the principles of its flight dynamics as well as how to fly the aircraft. The instructor will do the take off and the climb to safe altitude and then offer control to the passenger. Initially the instructor will assist the passenger with certain controls and then eventually if the situation is deemed safe the passenger is allowed to take full control of the aircraft.

Now the student pilot is taught how hold a track heading and to initiate shallow turns as well as throttle control for maintaining altitude. The Instructor will do all required radio broadcasts for the aircraft and at the end of the flight will perform the landing and final debrief of the Passenger

The flight can only take place if the weather conditions are suitable for  a safe flight.
